Do you see yourself developing world-class Solutions for axles and transmissions?
Do you want to develop in a passionate and collaborative team?
If you thought YES to the above questions, please continue reading!
The Transmission and Axle development department within Volvo CE is located in Eskilstuna. The development of world class transmissions and axles for Volvo CE machines is carried out in dedicated cross-functional teams and the manufacturing is done in our own plant here.
Our components are installed in Volvo CE premium equipment and this applies not only to conventional machines but also our upcoming range of electromobility machines. We believe in a diverse and creative workplace that brings out the best in everyone. You also identify with our Volvo culture which is defined in our values of customer success, trust, passion, change and performance.
What We Offer?
You will work within the team for axle design and take part in our development projects as a design engineer. This involves design responsibility for drive train components for wheel loaders, articulated haulers and excavators.
An important part of the assignment is a close contact with our suppliers, internal as well as external.
The work includes the whole lifecycle of a product – from advance engineering and early project phases like pre-study, to industrialization and product maintenance. The work is performed in a project organization.
Who Are You?
You are a development engineer with a relevant university degree. You like working in teams and in close cooperation to get the work done. You have a positive attitude and are open to learning new things.
You are good at speaking and writing English and can either speak or are willing to learn Swedish. Experience from earlier driveline development is a great advantage.
Who Are We?
Our world is changing and with focus on global warming the industry transformation is happening right now. Within Volvo CE we believe that we can contribute to “building the world we want to live in” in a responsible way and for our future generations. This will be a great journey.
We are looking forward to having you as a part of our journey!
