Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines, to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. At Purchasing Quality we are supporting this journey by developing new ways of working in new technology and sourcing solutions with speed and flexibility.  

We are now looking for a new leader to the Supplier quality organization to manage the group of our Field quality purchasers.

Your profile

As a leader, you are dedicated and engaged. You are inspired by building teams and you value communication and collaboration. With experience from quality and interest for the commercial part of the business, you will succeed in this role.

You will work both cross-functionally and cross-brand, where your capability to support both in operational questions as well as on strategic level will be appreciated.

You have leadership experience and it’s meritorious if you have an automotive background.
The role implies international contacts, so you will need to be proficient in both written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage and we appreciate your ambition to improve.

Main tasks

You are one of the enablers for your employees to grow and succeed in their job and career.
Together with the team, you contribute to our operations and end customers by sourcing the best solution in our field quality cases in regards to cost and lead time.

You will communicate with stakeholders, help managing risks and improve the process in order to support Scania’s strategies.

You will be part of our management team that is responsible for supplier audits, supplier quality engineers in production units and escalation team.
